How sad as I'm sitting here thinking to myself, so I decided to put this on the internet so that at least there will be something. :D I am laying here up because I have drank a wonderful sundrop slushie that contains caffeine and in these moments I wonder what God is trying to say to us. I have always dealt with having a consistent time with God each day. People always say, "Consistency is the Key" but that is the most difficult thing for me to master. So the majority of times when I spend long periods of time with God are on nights like these. I have good and bad days but God always makes either better. I encourage you then when you have times like I do. When you get your second wind, when you have that extra burst of energy, when you become restless, find your peace in God. Find your rest, find your comfort, find your companionship, but also find your majestic Lord who desires to speak to you. This is definitely not the really cool devotional I was hoping to find but, it's a simple reminder to me that we should not be so consumed in our wants and needs that we let God slip from our memory.

Long Time, No Posting …

Hey Everyone, Seriously I haven’t posted in a month and a half. During that time I have attended my senior prom and had so much fun, I have graduated from high school, been in Tennessee for two weeks of this summer and I have begun working. So far summer has been great, I’m finally getting to the point where I don’t feel like there is a test to study for every week. On the last day of school, I completely missed a step at church and sprained my ankle in the last two min. of my very last day of school. I was limping for a few days but after that I was back to normal after that. Also when we were in Tennessee I got to help with my Aunt’s Pre-School VBS class and those kids were so cute ! Right now we are in the car again for a day or two in Tennessee. I couldn’t believe it but this car ride I took a 3 HOUR NAP!!! I couldn’t believe it, that never happens. We are arriving at our hotel so I will be posting soon and more often. By the way here’s a picture to see how much fun a mac can be on a road trip …

As my daily devotions in the evening, I have been working through the second half of Louie Giglio's book 30 Day Worship Journey. Each day you are given a psalm and a characteristic of God. Day 4's psalm was Psalm 96, and the word was Supreme. Here is my journal entry for that day...


Nacho Supreme,
Taco Supreme,
Crunchwrap Supreme,
... etc.

The best, the ultimate with sour cream on top. Towering over all the other menu items. Ruler of the Taco Bell Kingdom (even the chihuahua).

There is no way that it is right for me to compare God to Taco Bell, but it helps me better define the word supreme. God is truly the best, the ultimate even without the sour cream. God towers over any other god-wanna-be's. God is truly the ruler of the things you have created. God is a Supreme God (in more ways than one :D ). I am the one that's on the value menu. I'm the one that is not of utmost importance. I am that chihuahua, but I am saying, "¡Amo a Dios, yo amo sus atributos, yo amo todo que él es! ".
